Arjan Bajwa, a versatile actor celebrated in the realms of pan-Indian and Southern cinema, has clinched a prominent role in an upcoming international film production.
In the entertainment industry, Arjan Bajwa stands as a dark horse, leaving an indelible mark with unforgettable performances in films such as “Rustom,” “Fashion,” “Bigil,” and his author-backed portrayal of Tahir Wazir in the highly acclaimed Amazon series “Bestseller.” Notably, he also depicted the real-life hero Col. Sahota in “State of Siege – 26/11” on ZEE5.
Expanding his horizons to the global stage, Arjan Bajwa takes the lead in the South Asian international production titled “Demon Hunters,” an enthralling action-comedy brought to life by the renowned global company, Light House Productions. This exciting venture is under the directorial prowess of Mei-Juin Chen, known for works like “Gangster’s Daughter” and National Geographic’s “Kung Fu Secrets,” and celebrated director-cinematographer Tony Cheung, acclaimed for his contributions to Jackie Chan’s “The Legends of Drunken Master,” “Dragon Blade,” and the recent Netflix release “Hidden Strike,” featuring John Cena.
Arjan Bajwa, when queried about his selection for this pivotal role, exclaims, “It’s an exhilarating character, and I’m thrilled to have been chosen to portray a computer geek seeking vengeance for his grandfather’s death. The casting team reached out to me approximately six to eight months ago. After meticulous reviews of my body of work and detailed meetings, everything fell into place. We engaged in workshops and training before the shoot, which was an amazing learning experience.”
Currently in production, “Demon Hunters” boasts a talented ensemble cast, including popular stars like JC Lin, renowned for series like “What the Hell is Love” and the film “Some Day or One Day,” and Regina Lei, known for her role in “Antikalpa” on Netflix. The seasoned actor Jack Kao from the “Assassin” and “Gatao” series on Netflix also graces the cast.
Arjan Bajwa has an intriguing lineup of diverse projects in both television series and films, and he playfully remarks, “I am eagerly looking forward to an exhilarating 2024.”
